medium or long hair?

soooooo im thinking about cutting my "long" hair. well my mom thinks its very long. i just think its long considering i haven't cut it in about 4 months. i say i usually cut my hair every 4 months cuz any longer than that and my lovely hair greets me with split ends which freaks me out. i once didn't cut it for 6 months. o__0 i still don't know how i endured that. anyway. im thinking maybe its time to cut my hair shorter since its summer (shorter means somewhere below my shoulders). just when i was thinking about cutting it, the weather got cooler which made me think twice about cutting it. i also found a brilliant way to curl my hair without using any heat a.k.a no curler or straightener (yes you can curl your hair with a straighter). perfect for me! i hate using heat on my hair. it makes me feel like im frying my hair alive. i don't even straighten my hair once a month. so much for that 150 bucks straightener i got huh. ehh got off topic again. ok. so heres how you do it. first you need to wash your hair. then dry it for a bit with a towel. NO BLOWDRYING!!! you need to leave some moisture in your hair in order for this to work. once your hair is half dry, brush it so that everything is smooth. apply some holding mousse/spray and part your hair into 2 at the back. twist the 2 parts around each other and twist again to form a bun at the back and secure with a hairband. all you have to do is wait til your hair is dried (4 to 6 hours depending on how thick/long your hair is). i just slept through it since i showered really late last night. here is how my hair looks like

not bad huh? it doesn't look too defined. it looks more like loose curls and wavy which i love. so this made me think about canceling my haircut appointment i have tomorrow. i want to play around with my long hair more before i cut it. maybe i will move my appointment to next next saturday. give myself 2 more weeks to play around with my long hair. ^^

on a side note: our allkpop shinee thread is dead these days. we got nothing to spazz about after minho's jumpsuit, key's sparkly eyes and ridiculous hairdo in Dream Concert. sparkly eyed jigglypuff rocks btw. XD SME needs to announce when the boys will be back. they can't just leave the fangirls in desperation. we've been waiting for their comeback for wayyy too long. i miss my shinee boys. !__!


EDIT: i did it! finally! this is how my hair looks now. well minus the curls. my hairdresser curled it even though i didn't ask for curls. sooo w/e!
